I didn't know that Rotel made fire roasted tomatoes with chilis. The taste is amazing, adding a little extra zest and tang to my chili and other dishes. Price was fine, but I couldn't really compare. I've never found these in my local grocery stores. Bet I'll be back for more real soon.

This stuff is not blazing hot, but it does have a kick.Excellent base for making salsa (onion, garlic, cilantro, and canned Hatch chilis for extra oomph.) I also use it as a cooking sauce: just spoon it over fish or chicken, add whatever else you like (e.g., lemon and capers for fish, herbes de Provence for chicken), and bake. It's become a staple item in my kitchen.
