   This is the best substitute for Rotel if you are looking for something organic! We use this for making a quick salsa in the blender: 1 can of Tomatoes with Jalapeno & Cilantro, handful of fresh cilantro, 1/4 small onion, 1 clove garlic, 1 tsp lemon or lime juice, salt and pepper. Perfect salsa!

   use to make quick red stock for yummy red rice by reducing stock/broth of choice and reducing on a simmer until it reaches the correct shade of orange (chicken/pork/beef, unknown shade on veg stock, the tomato acid smooths out when its done) then steaming rice in it or blending for a quick homemade red sauce for enchiladas/burritos etcetera if you can't get to the market to buy fresh tomatoes , jalapenos, etcetera so is a an excellent addition to the list of pantry staples.

   These are the only tomatoes that I buy for my spicy foods. While they are not super spicy they have great flavor. If you are looking for an organic option to the other name brand (old el paso) you've found it right here!
