In response to our fans’ evolving diets, we’ve made some changes as well. We developed a recipe with no added MSG for many of our products—and noodle lovers enjoyed them as much as the original! Nissin, the Original Instant Ramen
Witnessing a dire food shortage in Japan after WWII, an industrious businessman set out to produce a simple and affordable solution to feed the masses. Our founder, Momofuku Ando, was convinced that “Peace will come to the world when the people have enough to eat.” After years of experimentation, in 1958, “Chikin Ramen” was officially released and sparked a 3-minute global revolution. Nissin in the US
On a trip to the U.S. in 1966, Momofuku Ando noticed Americans curiously eating forkfuls of noodles out of cups, instead of using bowls and chopsticks. With that simple observation, the worldwide Cup Noodles phenomenon was born. Shortly after, Nissin officially put down its roots in the U.S. In 1972, our Gardena, CA, plant started production of Top Ramen—the first instant ramen manufactured and sold in the U.S. And ever since, Nissin Foods USA has launched a continuous stream of new and innovative products for hungry, noodle-loving Americans.

I love these! Too spicy with the addition of the dark liquid pack so I just don’t use it. I drain most of the water out after heating then add the powdered flavor pack and stir.

Better than Top Ramen as sometimes the noodles are half cooked unless you compromie with warm broth. Hot N Spicy noodles are smaller with more flavor yet the broth is steamy hot. Yummy!

It's ramen-soup, we're not talking about a $15 bowl of soup in a restaurant, but I love it, especially the truly spicy hot versions.People add chopped chicken or beef and freeze-dried vegetables, but I go with Thai Sweet Chili sauce...two heaping tablespoons put this soup over the top.One bowl is a very filling lunch.Is it healthy?Truth is, I really don't care.It's delicious!

I bought these noodles because they taste amazing, especially when paired with eggs or meat. I haven’t tried all the flavors yet, but I’m excited to explore them—I didn’t realize there were so many! Can't wait to try them all!

Ramen has a very nice flavor and quite a decent kick to it without overwelming the flavor profile. I add dehydrated vegetables when preparing and it makes it a very nice lunch.

I normally detest the artificial flavours in the noodle packets, but this does not taste artificial at all. I like spicy, so I did use the sauce. Easy to make. The noodles are quite al dente, so if you like softer noodles, leave them a little longer. I couldn't finish the whole bowl as they are extremely filling. I'll be stocking up on these for my emergency food supplies as I live in a place that gets tornadoes. Perfect.

These taste really good and they're cheap also and the only negatives I would say are that I'm not a big fan of the paper bowls because I like the plastic bowls better but the paper bowls will fall apart quicker to help save our planet if that matters to you but also the brown gooey stuff in the packet that I'm sure helps make it taste as good as it does It's kind of a pain in the butt to squeeze out into your bowls completely so that's kind of irritating but that's what makes it good I'm sure and these tastes really good with a little bit of spice but not too much at all and they're are good value so I'm not going to mark them down just based on that so I recommend them.

Great product easy to make. The flavor pouches are always fresh and my son loves these. He has been eating this soup for years. It’s on the spicy side. Sometimes we add beef to it like a little pieces of steak. The flavor is really good.
