Being disabled mix getting food for myself a little bit difficult. These rice cups are a lifesaver, :-). They are very easy to just take out, put in the microwave, Heat and eat. They are even handy if you just need a little bit of a side dish with your dinner. They are very tasty wonderful jalapeno flavor and I didn't have to boil water. Looking at different options this is a fabulous value for the money and wonderful quality rice. When you peel the top back you instantly get the smell of jalapeno and The Taste when you take your first bite. It is not overwhelming and it is not super spicy.

This wild rice is very good and unbelievably easy to just remove the top and microwave for 1 minute. The only thing that is disturbing to me is the container is so small and it turns out it is TWO SERVINGS! Tiny servings and at 220 calories per tiny serving... that's a lot. If one ate enough for what one expected to be a side dish serving it would be 2 containers and a shopping 880 calories leaving only 620 calories for the entire day for someone trying to maintain their low weight. Anyway, mixed with legumes and tomatoes and other veggies one serving is sufficient and delicious. But as a side dish it is just too small and too high caloric.I do recommend this rice.

When I first discovered these years ago I was dubious, because really, Minute Rice? But then I saw that America’s Test Kitchen recommended this product so I tried it and it’s great when you want a single serving of rice. I particularly recommend the Jasmine and Basmati. I find the brown rice undercooked even if I add a bit of water and chalky, so I can’t recommend that flavor. They also offer a bigger pouch flavored with cilantro lime that tastes off to me and I love both flavors in general, so I don’t recommend it either. But if you stick to the cups, particularly jasmine and basmati you will like them. My only complaint is the plastic waste. Highly recommended
