   I always used a name brand soup. But I tried this tomato soup. And it's the best I've ever had. You can't go wrong with this soup.

   I always search for the highest quality product at the lowest price. At the $.88/can I paid, this tomato soup is just fine. At the $1.29/can regular price, not so much. The national brand sold here by the bigmart is $1.29/can. I buy canned tomato soup when I am cold or sick. It's not healthy with so much salt and starch. It's just sort of soothing to me. This Amazon iteration of the soup is exceedingly better than house brands I have tried. All other house brands have been awful, pale pinkish, thick with extreme starch and no flavor. This Amazon product has a good flavor to me, more acid and tomato-ish, and a nice tomato color, better than the name brand, I think.Compared to the name brand, it is quite thin. But the name brand has a lot of thickener, which might be the difference. The flavor might be better than the name brand. I mix mine with milk so it might be different with water. Maybe I just want warm milk sometimes. I buy a few cans a year, so it is not a major need at my house. At a lower price than the name brand, This soup is the best one.Oddly, the can was not full. It was filled ¼" from the top of the can.Thanks, Amazon, for bringing more choices and competition into the marketplace.

   Great tasting tomato soup at a very cheap price. Good consistency, ready after about 3 minutes in the microwave or cooked on your stove top. Very simple, just heat it and eat it. Tomato soup is great with crackers. I also put some basil in it, bit of garlic powder.I've tried their chicken soup as well, and it's also very good.
