I have been a fan of the pasta sides for longer than I can remember. This new one adds a nice kick to the standard chicken rice. I usually add more to each side anyway, so some diced red peppers and jalapenos made for an excellent dish. I've already ordered more of these. One of my new favorites.

This is my go-to meal since I am always on the road. I love that it doesn't give me any heartburn when I eat any of the different varieties (except for the marina flavor) and it is soooo easy and quick to prepare.

I really enjoy the this particular side, it's easy to throw in some andouille or similar sausage and have a good meal. Nutritionally it's not bad; low calories but absorbs a lot of water so it's quite filling. I would call the "rice" more like "rice product" as it's varying grain sizes of what just looks like small pieces of extruded pasta, but it's still good and it doesn't have the sticking issue that Knorr's pasta sides do causing some pieces of pasta to be undercooked.I won't buy the pasta sides anymore due to this cooking issues they have but this particular side is excellent. Make sure to fluff it up well when done cooking to help get some of the heat out or it will become a goopy mess.
